Are you allowing your circumstances to dictate to you how you are feeling?
If so, it really is as simple as changing your thoughts about that particular circumstance. Circumstances can’t make you “feel” anything. It is your thoughts about that circumstance that is making you feel what you feel.
If you are in a bad feeling circumstance, pick a thought that makes you “feel” better about that circumstance. The easiest way is to reach for appreciation. What do you appreciate about it? We can all find one thing (no matter how small) that you appreciate about your circumstance.
For example – Your thought is: I’m in a lousy job surrounded by negative people having to collect money from people that I believe don’t have any money and I am missing enjoying the summer with my kids. (ewww can you feel how heavy that is? I feel bad just typing it.)
Instead of focusing on that depressing thought find something you can appreciate about that job….
It is helping me pay my bills right now, I get to be the beacon of light for the customers, I don’t really know anyone’s financial situation, I really enjoy my weekends because I have a great time with my family… You get the idea.
Appreciation is absolutely the first step in “feeling” better about any circumstance. You will still have thought work to do as you progress from there but appreciation is the best place to start.
Challenge your thoughts, feel better about that circumstance because it is in the “feeling” that manifestation happens…make sure you are manifesting the good stuff! And if you need help call me…There is always HOPE!
